Everything we do in business is marketing. Marketing is telling the story of your brand to the world—every single detail matters.
I might be biased after being in Marketing for 100 years.
We build our image, trust and reputation with everything we do.
You host the event. Location matters, venue matters, catering matters, quality of speakers matters, your business card matters, the way you dress matters, turning on time matters, and keeping your word matters.
And then it’s your product.
Quality matters. How you deliver the product matters. Packaging matters.
Here is the package I received yesterday. My thoughts immediately: “how someone can be so careless?”How can you package your product this way? Where is pride and respect for what you do? Or did they think: “We made a sale, the rest doesn’t matter.”
In a second even the top product just got devalued. Why would you do that?
Do you agree? What do you pay attention to when receiving a product or service?
Meanwhile, Tiffany sells silver paper clips for $165.00. And we all know why.
