Did you know in 1970 we were exposed to 500 advertising messages a day? In 2022 the number is over 5,000. Yes, 10 times more. Today we only have 3 seconds to grab someone’s attention. 1-2-3……gone.
I wonder why it’s harder and harder to cut through the noise, to be heard, to be memorable, to be top of mind.
Nowadays we see so many marketing tactics fail. They look good on paper/PowerPoint and sound promising at the meeting but in real life, it cost you money and gets no results.
It’s why in order to stand out we MUST be different. We must be relevant. We must take time to think and work on the strategy first. I personally find the more I slow down (those who know me would know my speed), the less I do, the more I listen and feel the vibe and energy of people I interact with the more joyful business becomes. I definitely say “NO” more often.
I love applying a proven human marketing approach in every project that I work with. Who said direct mail is dead? I feel NOW it’s more alive than ever. What else can get you a 100% open rate?
